Webinar: Experiences of integrated care in chronic diseases from the Latin American region

On December 7, 2022, the third webinar of IFIC LatAm’s launch took place, titled “Integrated Care Experiences in Chronic Diseases from the Latin American Region.” The webinar featured the following presentations:

• Presentation 1: Dr. Vivian Vílchez, Director, Center for Nursing and Health Research, University of Costa Rica.

Conference: “Challenges of Integrated Care in Chronic Disease.”

• Presentation 2: Dr. Mario Espinach, Chief of Nephrology Service at the Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia Hospital of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund.

Conference: “Comprehensive Management of Renal Disease and the Nephrology Network in the Huetar Atlántica Region.”

• Presentation 3: Dr. Lina Díaz, Researcher, National Institute of Psychiatry Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz.

Conference: “Experience, Challenges, and Recommendations of Integrated Care in Mental Health in Mexico.”
