The International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC), IFIC Canada at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and its co-founders, Walter Wodchis and Jodeme Goldhar, invite you to join our next Virtual Community Session on December 20th, 2022 from 12:00-1:30 PM EST. Integration is the lever to enable population health and wellbeing. A key component of integration is the role of partnering with the volunteer sector to improve outcomes for our patients, caregivers and our population. In this session, we will take a deep dive to learn firsthand from about the role of engaging the volunteer sector from the perspectives of policy-makers, researchers and a person with lived experience. This session will discuss the available evidence, the volunteer sector’s role in policy, and share approaches and practical examples of local work that engages with the volunteer sector.

This webinar organised by EHMA tackles this issue from two perspectives: how to analyse and formulate integrated care policy at national and regional level to assist policy makers forge integrated care models for patient populations and how to design a practical technological solution which assists in coordinating multiple clinical pathways deploying the Virtual Care Operator as a solution.

Join us for a deep dive on collaborative governance and how we integrated care is enabled by high performing integrated governance. In this session, you will have the opportunity to engage about the critical role of collaborative governance in integrated health systems from the perspective of policy-makers, members of collective governance models, researchers and people with lived experience. The 23rd International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC23) in partnership with the Flanders Agency for Health and Care and Visit Flanders will take place at Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp, Flanders from 22-24 May 2023. With the overarching theme ‘Care in action: how to work together, a participatory approach’, the conference will bring together leaders, researchers, clinicians, managers, citizens, patients and caregivers from around the world who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and social care.
