Health Standards Organizations Public Review

The public review of HSO’s new Integrated People-Centred Health Systems standard is taking place between September 6th, 2019 and October 6, 2019.

Public reviews are an opportunity for anyone to review and comment on draft standards before they are published. HSO incorporates applicable feedback from public reviews into the final versions of standards.

After developing the first draft of the HSO:76000 Integrated People-Centred Health Systems standard, we ran an initial public review and targeted consultation in 2018. Throughout this process, we received a lot of feedback which has helped significantly improve the standard. As part of our commitment to developing world class standards, we are running a second public review to ensure stakeholders have the chance to provide feedback on the revised draft.

Heath Standard Organizations:

Integrated health and social systems create and sustain an enabling and supportive environment for patients, families and providers. Health Standards Organization (HSO) is developing the first-ever standard that will guide health and social systems towards the creation and sustainability of an environment for integrated people-centred care. After developing the first draft of the HSO:76000 Integrated People-Centred Health Systems standard, we ran an initial public review and targeted consultation in 2018. Throughout this process, we received a lot of feedback which has helped significantly improve the standard. As part of our commitment to developing world class standards, we are running a second public review to ensure health leaders like yourself and other stakeholders, have the chance to provide feedback on the revised draft.
I invite you to review the standard and provide your valuable feedback. The public review is open from September 6th until October 6th, 2019. We aim to publish the standard in early 2020.
