The International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) was recently nominated by our Conference Partners Abbey for the International Association of Professional Conference Organizers (IAPCO) Client Award which we won for our ICIC20 Virtual Conference. IFIC were recognised for their quick response to moving to virtual and embracing the unknowns and ultimately delivering a successful online version of our International Conference.
IAPCO are a member based organisation comprising conference organising/meeting planning companies whose aims are to raise standards in our industry and to provide a quality assurance to our clients. IAPCO’s clearly articulated vision to “drive excellence” takes many forms, including creating opportunities for members to share best practice with one another, promoting best practice, participating in industry-wide discussions, encouraging members to adhere to the Association’s quality standards and developing education programmes which are highly relevant, not just for PCOs but also for the wider meetings industry
The IAPCO Client Award celebrates successful relationships and mutual respect between the client and PCO. They lead to efficient, innovative and prosperous meetings and build into long-term relationships. The IAPCO Client Award recognises these relationships acknowledging best practice.
The ICIC20 Virtual Conference was a relaunch of the 20th International Conference on Integrated Care that was due to take place in Šibenik, Croatia in April. The virtual conference offered 100 sessions with over 150 hours of content across 4 themed days in September 2020.
