As part of IFIC Australia’s knowledge partnership with the Mater Research Institute – University of Queensland Centre for Health System Reform and Integration, Dr Nick Goodwin and Dr Viktoria Stein from IFIC were invited as guest speakers during the 4th International Health Care Reform Conference that was held at the Intercontinental Double Bay, Sydney, on 21st-23rd March.
Using a range of case examples, Nick and Viktoria provided an international overview of the lessons learned in the transition of care towards more people-centred, community-based and integrated systems.
