The INCAREHEART buyers’ group from five countries Sweden, Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Turkey, invites potentially interested bidders to participate in the open market consultation (OMC) events starting in June 2021 in preparation of an upcoming pre-commercial procurement.
Chronic Heart Failure (CHF): a challenge for healthcare systems
Heart failure is a complex condition, covering a whole spectrum of care including acute and long-term care involving in-hospital, outpatient and community-based care and support. Integrated management and multidisciplinary care are thus essential to provide optimal heart failure care, reducing hospital (re)admissions and providing better outcomes and experiences for patients and carers.
However, many patients do not receive optimal treatment and care through an integrated heart failure management programme. Major areas of concern to patients and carers are the lack of continuity between hospital and home care, as well as the coordinated treatment of comorbidities.
INCAREHEART: procuring integrated care solutions to address CHF
INCAREHEART brings together five procurers: Region Jämtland Härjedalen (Sweden), Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Italy), Region of Central Macedonia (Greece), Santa Casa Da Misericordia Da Amadora (Portugal) and Ministry of Health of Turkey. Together, they seek to procure an ICT-enabled integrated care solution to effectively support the management of a multidisciplinary care and support model for people living with CHF.
Local and international online events for an open dialogue with the market
The procurers are conducting an OMC to bring the market-perspective to the procurement process and give potentially interested bidders advance notice about the forthcoming call for tender.
Each procurer will hold an OMC event in their local language to engage with country stakeholders. In addition, an international OMC webinar will be organised in English to welcome participants from any location.
The OMC will be an unique opportunity for market players to interact with the five procurers to understand their needs and priorities, and to prepare for the Call for Tender well in advance. Besides, an added value of the international webinar will be a pitching session for market players interested in finding partners for a joint tender. In addition, in a parallel session, external procurers are invited to provide feedback on the requirements and use cases, in a way that the procured solution represents the interests of a larger number of demand-side organisations. Interested stakeholders are welcome to sign up to the events at: https://incareheart.eu/omc/
