IFIC Ireland in partnership with the Health and Social Care Board Northern Ireland and the Health Service Executive (Ireland) hosted a workshop on Integrated Care in Ireland at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on November 29th last. Over 50 delegates from across the island of Ireland heard from speakers discussing such topics as The Strategic Context for Integrated Care in Northern Ireland, how initiatives such as Enhanced Care at Home and Social Prescribing are preventing hospital referrals and primary care appointment workload by enhancing the lives of patients through the care received at home and through social activities and the digital transformation activities within HSCBNI and the HSE are focussing on improving the experiences of employees and citizens alike.
