New record for Integrated Care book

IFIC is delighted to announce a book co-written by its directors and fellow Integrated Care experts has had more than 20,000 downloads.

IFIC’s CEO Dr Nick Goodwin and Director of Education and Training Viktoria Stein worked alongside international colleagues to pen the ‘Handbook Integrated Care’.
The book was launched last June and since then there have been 22,391 downloads, according to publisher Springer.

The book is split into four distinct sections, including the conceptual basis of Integrated care; the different management aspects; an analysis of the potential for integrated care in select patient groups and a series of examples from eight health systems.

Fellow editors included Volker Amelung, of the Institute for Epidemiology, Social Medicine and Health System Research Medical School Hanover, Germany; Ran Balicer, of the Health Policy Research and Planning Clalit Health Services based in Tel-Aviv, Israel; Ellen Nolte, of the European Observatory of Health Systems and Policies and the London School of Economics and Political Science, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK, and Esther Suter, of Workforce Research & Evaluation Alberta Health Services Calgary, Canada.
