Integrated Care Search Filter will launch in April

IFIC Australia has been working on a new search tool to help support easier access to internationally published work on different aspects of integrated care.

IC Search is due to be launched in April to coincide with the next Committee meeting and workshops led by IFIC CEO Dr Nick Goodwin and other IFIC senior staff.

Work on the project started last year and it is co-sponsored by IFIC Australia and Central Coast LHD and supported by Flinders Filters, of Flinders University.

Details were initially unveiled at the first Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care, APIC1. This simple-to-use, one-click search tool will help users find relevant integrated care literature in PubMed.

Dr Goodwin said: “The objective was to create any easy to use search engine to access internationally published work on different aspects of integrated care. This search filter will be made freely available to the integrated care community in a new Knowledge section of the International Foundation for Integrated Care’s website and will be launched in early April.”
