WCIC2 IFIC poster prizes

IFIC poster prizes acknowledge the valuable contributions the authors and researchers submitting these abstracts make to enhance integrated care science and practice. For having the courage to turn negative study results into a positive learning experience and strengthening health economic research in integrated care, the best poster award went to Dr Maria Rubio-Valera and colleagues for their work entitled “Cost-effectiveness and cost-utility of a community pharmacist intervention in patients with depression (PRODEFAR study)”

Jacobi Elliott was the poster prize runner-up for “Engaging older adults in health care decision-making: Key findings and recommendations from the CHOICE knowledge synthesis project” and convinced the jury by demonstrating the important role patient involvement plays in guideline development

All abstracts presented at the congress would be published in the International Journal for Integrated Care on December 8th 2014.
