Heidrun Sturm
Biography
Heidrun Sturm is responsible for development and evaluation of innovative care structures and healthcare systems research at the Institute for General Practice and Interprofessional Care of the University Hospital and University of Tübingen since 2015. Her focus is on interprofessional and community based primary care models in Germany and healthcare services research, where she also acts as a consultant for the University Medical Center. She has extensive experience in health-systems analysis: as physician and healthcare researcher she worked in comparative healthcare services research in the US, the Netherlands and Germany.
As a trained physician and healthcare researcher, she has worked in comparative health systems research in the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany. As a consultant and researcher, she has designed and supervised numerous projects such as (health policy) trend and market analyses, development and evaluation of new health care concepts and structures.
Her interest lies in the translation of research into implementation with a focus on supporting regional integrated and interprofessional.
