Ingo MEYER is head of PMV forschungsgruppe at the University Hospital Cologne. He holds a degree in Sociology, Political Science, and Theology from Bonn University. He started work as a data analyst and statistician and today has a 15 years track record of working in the health and social care domains on research, consultancy and service provision. The development, implementation and evaluation of innovative, preferably integrated service concepts has been his main area of activity, particularly focussing on the use of ICT to improve outcomes. Furthermore he has been specialising on health services research using routine or administrative data from the health and social care sector, as well as the planning and implementation of data infrastructures and data management processes.
