Biography

Trained (internationally) as a physiotherapist and having experienced a dysfunctional (fragmented/curative) healthcare systems in various settings, Mark has become passionate about improving the (Dutch) healthcare system through integrated models of care and wellness creation. After graduating with a master’s in Integrative/Positive Health, he worked as a junior-knowledge manager for a strategic consulting organization on several PHM-programmes (ROS Robuust), gained experience as a junior-researcher at the first Integrated Care-oriented university of the Netherlands (LUMC-Campus The Hague) and worked as a projectleader at the first department of Integrative/Positive Health in the Netherlands (Saxion Hogeschool).

Mark is about to finish the new (Integrated Care) master’s program Population Health Management at LUMC-Campus The Hague. As an Executive Member of Emerging Researchers and Professionals in Integrated Care (ERPIC), he aims to be of service for its members by exchanging knowledge, network, literature and information regarding integrated care.
