Mudi Kadu is a Junior Associate with IFIC working to develop its international network of students and early career researchers. Combining her experience with IFIC, and as a PhD student at the University of Toronto, she will strengthen support for young professionals and students through leading IFIC’s relaunched Early-career Researchers in Integrated Care (ERIC) platform.

The ERPIC network is a unique international platform for student researchers and professionals passionate about improving the science and practice of integrated care. It will provide peer support, formal and informal networking opportunities and a whole range of education and training activities geared towards the needs of its members.

Mudi spent a year with IFIC as a Junior Researcher and worked closely with IFIC’s Director of Education and Training Dr Viktoria Stein supporting EU researchers through the implementation of community-based integrated care models for older adults across countries.

Mudi has an MSc. from the School of Public Health & Health Systems at the University of Waterloo (with a focus on gerontology) and is currently completing a PhD with Dr Walter Wodchis at the Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation, based in the University of Toronto. Her dissertation research focuses on the cost-effectiveness of different financial approaches for integrating health and social care.
