Senior Researcher at empirica
Sonja Müller is senior researcher at empirica. She holds a degree in geography, urban development, and economic sociology from Bonn University. Since joining empirica in 2001, her main fields of work are in the area of digital solutions for integrated care, health & social care and independent living. Sonja has been involved in a wide variety of digital health and care projects and studies. Her expertise relates to requirements research & needs analysis, service process development, public procurement of innovation (PCP, PPI), evaluation as well as socio-economic impact analysis and business model development. Through her work in projects such as VIGOUR, SmartCare and BeyondSilos she can base her work on a multitude of successfully concluded and ongoing implementation activities. Sonja is currently involved in the PCP action INCAREHEART, focussing on Pre-commercial Procurement of innovative ICT-enabled integrated care solutions to advance multidisciplinary health and care for patients with chronic heart failure.
