Summer Schools and Accelerated Learning Programmes
Summer Schools and Accelerated Learning Programmes
IFIC’s Summer Schools and accelerated learning programmes take place on a global level, with courses recently held in the UK, Australia and Singapore. International Summer schools are an ideal way of getting the most out of a one-week training programme. Our intensive courses demand a high level of engagement and preparation from participants, but the reward is an enriching and career-enhancing experience. Covering a term’s worth of input in just a week, the IFIC Summer Schools cater to high performing individuals, and are thus designed to address the specific needs of the target audience. Former delegates include health and social care professionals, clinicians, researchers and managers who want to strengthen their understanding of integrated care, get a comprehensive overview of state of the art in theory and practice, and hone their competencies in analysing, designing, evaluating and practicing integrated care.
All courses are built on the original, the International Summer School on Integrated Care (ISSIC), which is held every June at Wolfson College, Oxford, and attracts participants from around the world. It has been developed for those who are tasked with designing, implementing, leading and/or managing integrated care and want to learn more about the tools and instruments which are available to them with evidence from across the globe. The International Summer School Integrated Care is designed as a stand-alone education and training course and is eligible for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) or Continuous Medical Education (CME) credits for professionals and managers.
