Integrated Care For All: Promoting Health and Wellbeing Through Diversity

The 26th International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC26) Integrated Care for All: Promoting Health and Wellbeing Through Diversity in partnership with the International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) and the University of Birmingham took place on 13-15 April 2026.

The conference brought together researchers, practitioners, people with lived experience, clinicians and managers from the UK and around the world who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and social care. They explored how integrated care can respond to the needs of diverse people and communities, embraced the skills and knowledge of diverse professionals and practitioners, and developed diverse and innovative interventions which build on the strengths of people and technology. In doing so, the conference shared common opportunities and challenges faced by integrated care programmes and practice and debate potential solutions and learning from local and national developments.
